The Real Housewives of Cheshire stars’ terror as they abseil 125ft.
Ester Dee cried as she descended down a 10 storey building.
We’re used to seeing the ladies strutting around in heels and ballgowns at Manchester and Cheshire’s most glittering events.
But the Real Housewives of Cheshire donned hard hats and comfy boots and trainers to abseil 125ft down the Manchester Business School building.
The ITVbe reality show stars faced their fears of heights and abseiled down the front of the 10 storey building 125ft in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.
Dawn Ward, Ester Dee, Stacey Forsey, Tanya Bardsley and Rachel Lugo took the plunge with Dawn’s daughter Taylor and Rachel’s daughter Francesca who joined their plucky mums for the challenge.
Bubbly Ester was so terrified she was visibly in tears as she abseiled down the building on Booth Street East.
And her co-stars’ faces were also a picture as they made the descent to the ground.
Rachel, who was scooped up in her husband John’s arms when she reached the ground, took to her Instagram to thank people for their support and to explain why they were doing the challenge: “Thank you to each and everyone of you that have very kindly supported us and already donated. Cancer has affected so many.
“Supporting Macmillan who help people living with cancer is so important to us.
“The help they gave me when I was caring for my terminally ill mum at home was invaluable. I felt scared, helpless and distraught.
“The nurses helped me through what was a very dark and difficult time.”
Fans rushed to wish them good luck including cheekyv1981 who said: “Oh lordie!! @tanyabardsley7 cannot manage getting to an event without a mishap how is she going to manage abseiling!?! Joking aside you girls will smash this. Good luck xx”
And bumblerubble said: “Good luck! Such an amazing cause. They have certainly helped me recently! The nurses I have met over the last few weeks are wonderful and always there to listen xx”
