The Real Housewives of Cheshire ‘mauled’ by snarling hounds on terrifying gameshow.

The Real Housewives of Cheshire were ‘mauled’ by packs of angry, snarling dogs in a terrifying – and sweary – episode of ITV2’s Release The Hounds. Real Housewives star Dawn Ward was the first to race down an escape run in an attempt to get away from the dogs, and she complained to host Matt Edmondson that she was “s****** it.”

In the name of charity beauty entrepreneur Dawn was challenged to run away from a pack of hounds on an eerie estate with £3,000 in a backpack. But she failed to make it to the end of the run before the dogs caught up with her. Those who escape get to keep the cash in their backpacks and Dawn was hoping to win money for Caudwell Children which helps disabled children reach their full potential.

Before running away from the hungry, growling hounds she asked Matt: “I’ve not even run to the end of my drive and you’re making me do this? “Can I just donate the money myself and go home?”

Earlier in the creepy gameshow Dawn and Tanya were asked to take a “laughter enhancement” tablet. “I’m not taking a f****** pill Tanya. S*** what if we die?” asked Dawn.

But hilariously the tablet turned out to be a mint.

Co-star and parfumier Lauren Simon was next to take on the dogs after the women took on a series of scary challenges including a ‘laughter factory’ which saw Lauren wearing a mouthguard as she completed joke punchlines and Tanya was transformed into her worst fear, a clown.

Dressed with a protective hat over her hair, Lauren was told that Dawn hadn’t made it, but her “eyelashes had survived.” But Lauren also failed to outrun the dogs with £6,000 for the Christie Hospital, tumbling to the ground as a large hound leapt at the screaming reality star.

Mother of four Tanya, who is married to Burnley footballer Phil Bardsley and owns a boutique in Wilmslow, was the last to run after being told her co-stars hadn’t made it. The WAG was also running for the Christie in memory of her grandfathers with a head-start of 74 metres on the hounds, but she also failed to make it to the end without the hounds diving on her.

But the good news was that the show gave back £1,000 to be split between the ladies for charity. Tanya has sparked talk that they’re filming a new series of their ITVBe based reality show with an Instragram post showing her surrounded by cameras and the caption “lights camera action.”
